What we offer

Rancho Pacifico Baja is always growing and trying to find new ways to give back to the community, while developing our low-impact business. Whether that be through our local composting program, creating healthy nutrient-dense products, re-purposing glass jars and bottles for our products or simply helping people re-connect with nature, we are here to help you live a better life.

We offer a basic camping facility for a few RV vehicles, camper vans, and tent sites. We often have 1 or 2 glamping options available too. There is a Communal Space on the  top of the hill where we host events and our popular Pizza Nights!

Whether  camping out under the stars or participating in one of our workshops or events; We welcome you to our Rancho where we serve to inspire others to live more simply and in harmony with nature while also improving their health and well-being with healing foods.

About Us

In 2017, Dane and Sabrina purchased their large acreage in Pescadero and named it Rancho Pacifico Baja.  Starting with a goal of self-sufficiency and living as close to nature as possible, they developed the land very slowly and with a small budget every winter season. Most of the infrastructure was built by hand in order to preserve the plant species and to have minimal impact as possible. In 2019 they shared their vision with many friends and family and so the Eco Village was created as a way to share this way of life with others, while also living in a meaningful community. That same year they built their wood-fired Panaderia and Palapa, which serves as their Kitchen/Fermentary as well as part of the communal area for the Eco-village. Given they developed the business first in order to support their lifestyle instead of a house, they have been camping on the land and so the campground was naturally the next part of the business to develop. It is important for them to inspire others to live more simply and connected with nature so the campground and glamping provide an opportunity to do just that. In 2020 when a strong immune system became the forefront of everyone’s minds, they decided to share their healthy nutrient-dense products with the community and started selling their sourdough bread, baked goods and other fermented products at the local markets. As they met more people within the community, they discovered more ways to give back such as the composting program and through donations of their excess food products to the local people. More and more people requested to visit the ranch and so they opened up the ranch for events (like Pizza Nights) once a month in 2021 and continue to do so to this day.

They are proud to provide the local community with their nourishing products & experiences using ancestral techniques for optimal health benefits, while also promoting a simple lifestyle. They only sell healthy traditional products which include no inflammatory seed oils or refined sugars, sourcing ingredients from local organic, sustainable farmers and supporting businesses with high ethics towards zero waste.

They are well on the way to establishing a high-demand, speciality business that could support them in their low-impact lifestyle they desire while also helping to educate the community on living a healthier life.

Now that they are living on the rancho full-time they are hoping to finally be able to build a “green” home as well as further develop their business in order to support their low-impact self-sustainable lifestyle, while growing their Permaculture Farm & Eco-Village in the southern Baja desert.

Customer Reviews

See what our customer's have to say about our products

I have been gluten intolerant for 8 years and have only eaten guten-free bread. I was excited to find I have no symptoms after eating this delicious bread. I didn't realize just how much I missed "real" crusty, tasty bread. It truly is the staff of life. I slice up the entire fresh loaf and double bag it in the freezer. It lasts me a couple of weeks and is still fantastic. Well done, Sabrina and thank you.
